Cabot has used the program to provide $35,000 in funding to financially support the school through scholarships and the purchase of uniforms, certifications, and student membership fees.
Cabot has been contributing scholarship funds to Parkway West since 2019, and for the 2020-2021 school year, they also began utilizing educational tax credits to be able to provide capital equipment for Parkway West career programs.
According to center officials, the donation has resulted in improved classroom equipment, which will ultimately help students to be more equipped and prepared to enter into the workforce following graduation.
