Crafton and Ingram officials are moving forward with plans to complete a joint rezoning for the boroughs and ask for community input at an upcoming public visioning session.
All residents of Crafton and Ingram are encouraged to attend and provide input on the planned update to local zoning.
The event will be held at the Crafton Community Center from 4 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 18.
Officials are participating in the rezoning process to allow an increase in business activity to the area. Current zoning regulations date back to 1997.
“Our zoning consultants will be here on site and they’ll be talking with residents, going through some visioning exercises,” said Crafton Vice President Kristen Compitello. “And the purpose of that exercise is that the zoning project does not create change in itself, but it does regulate what is possible.”
