Veterans Appreciation Night — This great group of volunteers made the March 12 Veterans Appreciation Night held at the McKees Rocks VFW Post 418 a rousing success. Volunteer Cindy Holmes Dawkin of Ingram (fourth from left) and pictured to the left of her husband of 26 years William Dawkin passed away two days after this picture was taken. Our sympathies to the Holmes and Dawkin Families.

Historic Markets — A musical fundraiser held in February generated $4,500 for the McKees Rocks Historical Society to create a large printed timeline and other markers to commemorate the town’s 130 years of history. "BIG AL MAGNELLI" — Hundreds of people came out on March 13 in support of Al Magnelli and his family. With over 2,000 meatballs rolled and 1,431 dinner sold it was a good day to show some love to him and his family.
