Portions of the pothole-riddled Penn and Derby alleys running parallel to Broadway Avenue in Stowe are on course to receive a fresh layer of asphalt.
State Rep. Anita Kulik (D-45) announced a $125,000 grant earmarked for the work through the Allegheny County Gaming Economic Development Tourism Fund on Jan. 26.
“Securing this funding will have a positive impact on [this community] by supporting projects that focus on improving safety and accessibility,” Kulik said.
“I am looking forward to seeing these projects completed and enjoyed by residents.”
