Montour’s Kadlecik named to honor roll by Big South Sports

Montour Graduate Gannon Kadlecik has been named to the Big South Conference's 2021-22 Presidential Honor Roll. Now a baseball player for Radford University, based in Radford, Va., Kadlecik has a 3.39 grade point average.
Kadlecik, who graduated in 2021, was part of the Spartan baseball team which made the state semifinals for the first time in school history.
The Big South Conference announced that 59.92 percent of eligible student-athletes earned Presidential Honor Roll status for their work in the classroom in 2021-22 – the third-highest percentage since 2004.
Student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or better to be named to the Presidential Honor Roll. This past season, over half, 2,441 out of 4,074 Radford University student-athletes did.
Radford University led all Big South institutions for the first time since the 2012-2013 school year in this academic achievement. Of the 230 eligible student-athletes, 77.83% were on the honor roll.
