Family and officials gathered March 13 at the corner of Third Street and Broadway Avenue to dedicate a colorful saltbox to the memory of Will Sewell.
Police Chief Rick Deliman spoke of the former crossing guard's commitment to his job and the children of the community. Sewell died last October, leaving behind his wife and children.
The saltbox was painted by MarySue Flick, wife of Mayor David Flick.
