Spring events galore!


Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 220 Mansfield Blvd., Carnegie, is hosting its annual Ukrainian Easter Egg sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday April 10. In addition to the colorfully hand decorated pysanky eggs, there will be food, basket raffles and door prizes available. Church tours and talks are scheduled for noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.


Allegheny County is hosting a series of Family Drive-in Movies at the Settlers Cabin Park Wave Pool at 6 p.m. on April 22 and 29, May 6, 13 and 20. Movies begin at dusk. Capacity is limited to the first 100 vehicles. Register on


Coraopolis Boy Scout Troop 358 and Cub Scout Pack 358 are hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday April 2 at Ronald L. Bliwas Field. There will be free food, games, prizes and raffle baskets. Featuring a guest appearance of who other than the Easter Bunny.


Crafton Volunteer Fire Department is holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt starting at 2 p.m on Saturday, April 16 at Crafton Park. Event is for ages 8 and under.


Ingram Borough will be hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 16 at Foster Park.


Kennedy Township Independent Volunteer Fire Company is hosting Breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 10 at the Kennedy firehall. Breakfast includes pancakes, french toast, sausage and more. Prices are $8 for adults and $5 for kids.


McKees Rocks is hosting its inaugural April Fool’s Parade starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 2. The parade route runs from Thompson Avenue to McDonald’s way along Chartiers Avenue. Attendees are encouraged to wear crazy costumes. Free hot dogs and Hug drinks for kids. A post-parade celebration will be held at the McDonald’s Way greenspace until 7 p.m. An Easter egg hunt and Easter Bunny pictures will be held in the greenspace next to Hollowood Music and Sound. Hosted by various community groups including the McKees Rocks Women's Alliance.


Moon Parks and Recreation is holding its annual Easter Bunny Hop from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 16 at Robin Hill Park. Participants can complete a scavenger hunt, visit with the Easter Bunny, enjoy a snack on the patio, and play games on the lawn. Participants are encouraged to bring a donation for the West Hills Food Pantry.


Robinson Township is hosting its annual Easter in the Park starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at Clever Park. Events include a hidden Easter egg trail, petting zoo, craft corner and face painting. Members of the Forest Grove Volunteer Fire Department will escort the Easter Bunny to the event on a fire truck.
