Sto-Rox Coach Mills is Steelers ‘Coach of the Week’

In his first year as Sto-Rox Head Coach, Marvin Mills was named "Steelers High School Coach of the Week" and led the team into playoff territory.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been honoring area high school football coaches for several years at recent home games, deeming them the "Steelers High School Coach of the Week".
Accolades which not only shine the spotlight on area coaches, but peek interest in football programs across the state.
Along with the honor, a monetary donation of $1,000 is made by the Steelers to the schools football athletic fund.
On Oct. 16, Sto-Rox’s first year Head Coach Marvin Mills was honored during the Steelers versus Tampa Bay contest. Coach Mills appeared humbled and thankful for the tribute as his name was announced to the sellout crowd as the onfield ceremony was beamed across the Acrisure Stadium’s dual Jumbotron scoreboards.
The Vikings Head Man was named the Steelers Coach of the Week representing Class 2A for Week 6 of the season.
Mills received a plaque during the ceremony as well as the $1,000 donation to the football program.
