Which area municipality will receive ‘Best Town’ honor?

Gazette 2.0 has covered the westside area of Pittsburgh since 2017. Each of our towns is unique and possesses qualities that make it an interesting place to live. Whether it’s the unlimited shopping, friendly neighbors, quiet environment or decades worth of history, each location has merits that could be considered as a contender for the best place to live.

But, to be honest, we’re all a bit biased when it comes to our hometowns.

We're giving you — our readers — a chance to put a spotlight on your neighborhood. From now until March 31, we will be polling residents to find out which town ranks the highest in overall popularity. The winning town will be featured in an article in April and your response could be featured.

Things to take into consideration when voting for your favorite are:

• Liveability

• Affordability

• Proximity to local attractions and shopping

• Friendliness of neighbors

• Overall well-being of residents

Towns in the running are: Coraopolis, Crafton, Ingram, Kennedy, McKees Rocks, Neville Island, Robinson and Stowe.

To vote, send your answers to the following questions to us via mail or email:

1. Which of the above towns do you consider your choice to be the best town to live in?

2. Why is your choice the best town to live in?

3. What is your name?

4. Where do you live?

5. What is your phone number (optional)?

Vote by mail: Gazette 2.0 “Best Town,” 706 Broadway Ave., McKees Rocks, PA 15136.
