The Sto-Rox vs. Avonworth match-up was the featured game of the week in several major outlets and no one in the stands was disappointed with the hard-fought contest ending in a 19-16 victory for the Vikings.

The Lopes started off the scoring with a 31-yard field goal by Mike Osekowski. Soon after, the Vikings found their way onto the board when Jaymar Pearson intercepted a pass and returned fifteen yards for a Viking touchdown.

Ian Syam struck paydirt on a four-yard run to put the Lopes up 10-6, before the Vikings stole the lead through a four-yard run of their own, carried by Taemar Hull.

A 27-yard run by Syam won the Antelopes another touchdown, and put them back on top with a 16-12 lead.

The Vikings once again rallied with 10 minutes left in the game, as Austin Jones ran in for a 2-yard touchdown and Adam Devine kicked the extra Point to secure a hard-fought 19-16 victory.
