State police have charged the owner of the True Diamonds adult night club in Stowe on two counts of illegal alcohol sales.
The charges, brought April 6, followed a months-long investigation that began after a fatal shooting outside the club in December and culminated in a search warrant execution March 25, where State Police seized cash and liquor.
Following the search, another shooting took place outside the club in the early hours of April 4. The victim is now reported to be in stable condition and a suspect has been charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
In addition to club owner Matthew Marshall, an employee, Eric Littleton, has also been named on the charges filed with Magistrate Bruce Boni.
